Teacher Library Cards

Teachers may apply for a teacher library card, which allows for a 42-day check-out on juvenile books only.

  • Teacher privileges apply to juvenile books for classroom use only.  (Talking books, music CD's, KITS, book cassette sets, DVD's, videos and CD-ROM's must be checked out on a regular library card.)
  • Teachers may request sets of books on specific topics in person, or by phoning the Children's Department at 330-499-4712, ext. 18 or online.
  • Books in a teacher's set may be limited to 15-30 books, depending on the topic and availability.  No more than 5 books on a current holiday may be checked out.  Holiday books cannot be renewed.
  • Juvenile books only may be checked out for 42 days, allowing one renewal/extension of two weeks.
  • All overdue items will be charged a late fee, and full price will be charged for lost or damaged items.
