Water color with Rudy

Instructor: Rudy Amatangelo

 

Paint: Tube of watercolor paint in: Van Dyke Brown, Cerulean Blue, Raw Sienna & Yellow Ochre

 

Brushes: Synthetic sable brushes: # 5 round, #8 round, #6 rigger & 1 inch flat

 

Other Supplies: Round plastic Allman palette, 140 # Bockingford paper (2 sheets),

16 x 20 masonite or stiff cardboard, masking tape, pencils, kneaded eraser,

container for water & a box of Kleenex

 

 

Beginning Polymer Projects

Instructor: Sarah Shumaker

 

 

PLEASE BRING SUPPLIES TO OUR FIRST CLASS!

Class Supply Fee: $10 (payable to instructor on the first night of class)

Supply List:

~Small rolling pin - Acrylic or wood, also sold in polymer clay section as roller                                   

~Two blocks of both White AND Translucent PREMO clay
~One block Black PREMO                                                                                                     

~4 – 6 more colors (other than the ones already listed) PREMO
~Thin blade -- razor blade, clean wall paper removing blade, or polymer clay  slicing blade                                                                                                     

~Basic clay modeling tool kit (has 4 or 5 plastic tools in it)                                              ~SHOEBOX or something similar to hold supplies (portable)                                                ~X-acto or other similar craft knife                                                                                      

 ~Work surface: waxed paper, glazed tile, piece of Plexiglas, section of counter    laminate, etc. – must be smooth                                                                                        

~A few sandwich size zip bags and/or small plastic sealable containers                                                               

 

Optional Supplies:

~Additional colors of clay                                                                                                    

~Found tools, interesting shapes/buttons, etc. with which to make impressions

~Pasta Machine (for conditioning clay exclusively – also nice to not have to wait in line to use class machines), hand crank ($14-$20) or electric                                                 ~Rubber Stamps                                                                                                                        

~Pre-made canes of polymer clay                                                                                        

 ~Jewelry findings, beads, etc.

~Brayer (roller with handle)

~Bone folder

If you would like Sarah to purchase any supplies for you (for any reason) please let her know by the NIGHT before our first class!  She will being going to the Flower Factory, Pat Catan’s, and JoAnn’s the day of class for last minute items/supplies.   She will ring your items up separately at purchase, so you can have the receipt in order to reimburse her.  However, please don’t be afraid to go out on your own to check out supplies – especially to see the colors available!  

 

 

More Creative Collage

Small bottle of Liquitex Matte Medium, Variety of canvas board (from small to medium), Jar of Aleene’s thick designers “Tacky Glue” for Hard-to-Hold items, Paint brushes, Scissors, Treasures, found objects, images etc. to collage (not needed for first class)

 

 

Landscape Painting

Instructor: Marjorie Lutes

 

Bring to the first class: Drawing paper and Drawing Pencils.

 Further supplies will be discussed in class.

 

 

Push it to the Limit

Instructor: Nancy Stewart Matin

 

 Your present supply of watercolor paints, brushes and paper are all you will need.   (Arches cold-press 140# watercolor paper recommended.)
